Google Sketchup Modelling
Although I have used 3D modelling programs and CAD software for a while now, nothing is as easy to use and intuitive as Google Sketchup, so I thought I’d buy the Pro version, and learn the ins and outs of it so that I could produce models not just of hobby quality, but of professional quality.
I used the program for my university final project, which, due to its complexity and size, had to be meticulously organised into layers, components and groups.
Now that I’ve bought Sketchup, I need to make it pay, so if you need any modelling work, I am available and at your service (for a small fee!). My services include Sketchup modelling from your dimensioned drawings and LayOut drawings sent to you as pdfs or physical A1 colour printouts. As an MEng Architectural Engineering graduate, I understand the types of illustration that you may want to use a Sketchup model for, and can organise the Sketchup model so that isolation of particular elements is easy.
